Who built it, and what they built
Suvansh Bansal is the co-founder of Flexiple, a Bengaluru-based freelancing platform built to create quality interactions between companies and freelancers. The business focuses on successful engagements where both the client and the freelancer end up satisfied.
Flexiple works with tech entrepreneurs, product leaders, and engineering heads at scaling startups. Instead of waiting weeks for applicants on a job post, clients answer five questions and get connected with suitable freelance talent within seven days.
Since operationalizing roughly three years before the founder's account, Flexiple had helped more than 85 startups across over 200 engagements, supported by a 225-member community of self-employed developers and designers.
Where the idea came from
Suvansh is a third-generation entrepreneur who first spent about three years working at two multinational companies. He then joined IIM Ahmedabad, where he met Karthik and Hrishikesh, who had already been shaping Flexiple's vision for nearly a year while juggling MBA coursework.
He began as a helping hand rather than a full partner, with each of the three taking one category: software development, digital product design, or content writing. After three months of strong working chemistry, he joined as a co-founder.
The founders believed existing freelance platforms relied too heavily on ratings and reviews, which work for commoditized services but not for skill-dependent work. They also decided to avoid external investment until absolutely necessary, helped by what they saw as inherently positive unit economics.
