Who built it, and what they built
Anand Mahajan is the founder of WebMaxy, a software company based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. He started the company in 2022 to build tools that help businesses grow.
Before WebMaxy, Anand worked as CEO of a technology development company and brought more than 12 years of industry experience, including a background as a software engineer.
Where the idea came from
Through his role at a technology development company, Anand spoke with many entrepreneurs and noticed a recurring complaint: visitor tracking and engagement tools on the market were too expensive for SMBs.
He also saw repeated complaints on product rating sites about poor customer support from existing vendors. He decided to build a robust yet affordable alternative that treated customers as a priority.
“One common pain area I figured out is the lack of affordable visitor tracking and engagement solutions in the market.”
