Who built it, and what they built
Ramesh Krishnamurthy founded Inquizity Metanoia, a Mumbai-based company that builds B2B enterprise software for supply chain planning and automation. He studied engineering at NIT Surathkal and later earned an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.
The business began in October 2011 under the earlier name Indus Momentus, and today employs 25 people with two cofounders listed on the business panel.
How they built the first version
The company started by selling and implementing a single production planning module, then spent years expanding it into a full end-to-end supply chain planning suite. Much of the product was shaped by working closely with large companies running complex operations.
- Demand planning
- Dispatch and replenishment planning
- Supply network allocation planning
- Production planning and scheduling
- Available to promise
- Rough cut capacity planning
- Network design
- Custom math, statistical, and heuristic models
Alongside the planning suite, the team built dataSAVI, a low-code, PWA-based automation and digitalisation platform. It was originally meant to complement the planning products but is now applied to use cases across operations in both manufacturing and services. The platform won the CIO Choice Awards 2019.
