Who built it, and what they built
Repurpose Pie is a SaaS that turns X posts into narrated videos and publishes them automatically to TikTok and YouTube, with Instagram support planned. It was built for X creators who want a presence on video platforms without doing extra work.
Ash co-founded the company with two partners: LifeMathMoney, an anonymous X creator with 380K+ followers, and Sergio, a former AWS software engineer. The team is based in India and the business panel lists two employees with three co-founders.
The product comes in two tiers. A standard tier converts any text into videos, while a premium tier pulls a user's X posts as they go live, generates videos, and posts them everywhere with no manual steps. Users can pick from more than 40 AI voices or clone their own, and rotate multiple visual templates so feeds do not look automated.
Where the idea came from
Ash trained as a Chartered Accountant in India but disliked finance work, and during the pandemic moved into affiliate marketing and then direct response copywriting. His copywriting consulting firm went on to help clients generate over $3 million in sales, and he ran several other ventures before this one.
The idea started with his co-founder LifeMathMoney, who wanted to expand beyond X to protect himself from a platform ban but had no time to produce three to five videos a day. He hired a video editor to convert his tweets into narrated clips, and within a few weeks his TikTok account passed 10,000 followers.
The catch was cost: the editor charged $500 per month, and Ash saw that creators across X were paying hundreds of dollars monthly for mediocre repurposed videos. The three co-founders, who had already built projects together including TeachYourselfCrypto and Copyright Samurai, decided the same day to build software that automated the whole workflow.
