Who built it, and what they built
Arjun Bharadwaj is the Founder & CEO of SolutionBuggy, a Bangalore-based consulting platform built for micro, small and medium-scale manufacturers in India. The company links these businesses with vetted industry experts and guides first-time founders through setting up a plant from scratch.
The platform offers turnkey support for new factory builds, covering design, machinery selection, installation, commissioning and the first production run. Its stated ambition is to bring digital order to a largely unorganized MSME consulting market using AI technology.
Where the idea came from
After finishing his mechanical engineering degree in 2008, Arjun chose manufacturing over the software careers most of his Bangalore peers were chasing. He built a product alongside a leading Indian technical institute and launched his own manufacturing venture.
While developing that product, he dealt with stakeholders across every kind of manufacturing industry in the country and saw how scarce skilled expertise was, especially among smaller enterprises. That gap became the seed for SolutionBuggy in 2016.
