Who built it, and what they built
Gautam Arjun co-founded EDIIIE, a creative technology company headquartered in India that builds interactive experiences for global brands. The name stands for Experts in Designing Innovative, Interactive, and Immersive Experiences.
The company positions itself as a major Indian provider of AR, VR, MR, and gamification work, and also builds metaverses that combine high-end games, blockchain technology, NFT design, backend frameworks, and XR capabilities.
EDIIIE has completed more than 200 projects for clients in the United States, Canada, Europe, India, and elsewhere, spanning eCommerce, training, retail, real estate, entertainment, manufacturing, and FMCG.
Where the idea came from
While working at top corporations, Gautam Arjun spent time with EdTech and HealthTech firms that had strong ideas but unresolved problems. In education, passive learning and weak retention persisted; in healthcare, patients lacked experiential tools that supported recovery and healing.
To test both markets, the team built two pilot projects. The first was a VR journey through the solar system, run with St. Xavier's School in Jaipur, where over 800 students took part and retention rates were exceptional. The second used a VR asteroid game to treat Amblyopia, and through partnerships with leading medical institutes in India, the team helped cure an 8-year-old boy with the condition.
The results and recognition from those two pilots became the founders' aha moment and confirmed they were on the right path.
