How a Frustration With Clunky CRMs Became a $5,000/Month SaaS in India
Rahul and his co-founder spent over two and a half years building TeleCRM after struggling to manage their own sales team, survived by monetizing a side project, and reached 100 paying companies through SEO and group demos.

Who built it, and what they built
Rahul is the co-founder of Flamon cloudtech, the parent company behind TeleCRM, a tele-sales CRM based in Delhi. The product aims to let salespeople skip manual data entry and instead receive a ready list of warmed leads who only need the human touch.
The business is in beta, serving 20 companies at a monthly recurring revenue of $4500/month. The team recently landed on what they see as a major differentiator: automatic capture of Facebook leads inside the CRM.
Where the idea came from
Rahul left college after his fourth semester, inspired by Steve Jobs, and spent two years shutting down two agencies and nearly going broke before meeting his co-founder at a coworking space. The co-founder had previously built mission planning and debriefing systems for fighter jets at Thales Aveonics.
The idea came from pain they felt directly. While selling their first SaaS product, they hired three salespeople and found spreadsheets unworkable within a week. Rahul then spent four days configuring Zoho CRM on nine hours of total sleep, yet the team still fought between selling and data entry.
They chose to fix their own problem first with a tele-sales CRM. To validate demand, they asked industry friends, ran data extraction and bulk SMS campaigns, and drew interest from roughly 800 business owners in less than a week, which told them they were onto something real.
