Who built it, and what they built

Anil Bakshi is the Founder & CEO of Startup Story Private Limited, a media platform based in New Delhi that began operating in January 2021. He brings more than a decade of experience across marketing, business consultation, and coaching, and has been involved with several startups and enterprises before this venture.

His co-founder, Animesh Shukla, serves as Co-Founder & COO. Shukla studied at IIT Dhanbad and previously held managerial roles across different organizations. The company lists a team of ten people, with named leads for outreach, visuals, development, social media marketing, and operations.

Where the idea came from

The founders point to a widely cited pattern: most startups fail. Their own research led them to a specific conclusion — the problem is often not a missing market for the product, but a team that cannot build enough credibility with customers.

That diagnosis shaped a two-part answer. One side is hands-on startup support, spanning tech help, content, legal compliance, and registration certification. The other side is a media operation that raises the visibility of startups and small businesses in the market.
