Who built it, and what they built
Anshul Sharma runs BrandBurp Digital, a digital marketing company based in Noida. The agency helps businesses win traffic through SEO and promotes brands online through SMO, with a team of around 175 people.
The company was established in 2015 and says it has worked with more than 2,000 brands. It reports a presence in the USA, UK, and UAE alongside India, and names Harley-Davidson, Coca-Cola, and Laureate University among the brands it has done branding and promotion work for.
Where the idea came from
Anshul came from a B.Tech background but was drawn to marketing and sales, so he pursued a PGDM in Sales & Marketing from Symbiosis, Pune, and later an Executive MBA in Sales at Cambridge University. He then took a corporate job before deciding the role was not for him.
He left the well-settled job to research businesses and entrepreneurship, and chose digital marketing at a time when it was still an unfamiliar concept for most people in India.
“Stay focused on your goal and start without any fear.”
