Who built it, and what they built
Jitendra Vaswani is the founder of BloggersIdeas, a blog he built into a full-time business starting at age 25. Based in Delhi, India, he describes himself as living a digital nomad lifestyle while running the operation.
Beyond the original blog, he launched a digital marketing agency called DigiExe and assembled a portfolio of more than 35 niche websites. The business panel lists 15 employees and one cofounder, with the operation reporting $70,000 in monthly revenue.
Where the idea came from
His digital marketing path began in 2012 with an SEO executive role at a startup. The pay was low, and his family had pushed him toward programming, a field he disliked. Discovering SEO changed his trajectory, and after two and a half years in the job he launched BloggersIdeas.com.
The idea came from searching Google for how to start a blog after watching established marketers like Neil Patel, Rand Fishkin, and Brian Dean earn well from their own sites. His total starting spend was $50 covering the domain and hosting, and through 2013 he put about $100 a month into content while keeping his day job.
“The world is full of great ideas, but success only comes through action.”
