Who built it, and what they built
SemiDot Infotech is a Jaipur-based agency that builds web and mobile applications for clients around the world, spanning industries from healthcare and education to eCommerce. Its service lines cover software and app development alongside newer areas such as blockchain, cryptocurrency, NFT marketplace, and metaverse work.
Jitu Bhaskar is one of three co-founders and serves as CEO. A lifelong technology enthusiast with a master's degree in computer science, he started the company with two partners in 2011. The firm has grown from a handful of people to a team of 52 specialists serving both SMEs and large organizations.
Where the idea came from
While working in London, Jitu saw firsthand the problems global clients ran into when outsourcing IT work. He concluded there was a gap in the market and that outsourcing could become a large global business if those issues were solved.
After returning to India, he teamed up with like-minded partners to build solutions for businesses worldwide. To give the new firm an edge, they set up an R&D team, hired web and mobile developers, and brought on analysts and testers before launching in 2011.
“If you trust your business, then only people will trust and consider the business genuine and of high potential.”
