Who built it, and what they built
Bhavik Sarkhedi describes himself as philosophical by nature and a storyteller at heart. He is a content writer who holds a Google Knowledge Panel, a distinction he notes only a small number of writers receive.
He leads Write Right, an Ahmedabad-based content writing agency serving both B2B and B2C clients worldwide. Since starting in May 2016, the agency has finished more than 1200 projects spanning copywriting, blogs, website pages, PR material, and social media content.
Where the idea came from
Writing had been a passion since his school and college days, even while he completed a full-time Mechanical Engineering degree. He wrote for money on the side to supplement his pocket money, a habit that later sustained him when he left a full-time role as a Production Executive.
His first independent venture was a self-published book, The Weak Point Dealer, which sold poorly and consumed most of his savings. To get by, he took a part-time job, then spent four years working as a copywriter and content writer while laying the groundwork for his own business. During that period he wrote three more books.
Contributing articles to Huffington Post and Entrepreneur brought him wide recognition, and his name began appearing in lists of top content writers. That visibility convinced him the moment was right to launch his own content writing and marketing agency, which became Write Right.
